Summer Collection 2013

leanne christie vancouver artist summer showsSummer Collection 2013 was featured at the Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver and at the Circle Craft Summer Market which was held for the first time at the Jack Poole Plaza next to the convention center.  As the paintings within the Summer Collection 2013 have made their way to their new homes, I have received more requests to include the entire collection on one page.

The Summer Collection 2013 images are below and to view some photos please go here.

The Circle Craft Summer Market was the first of what many hope will become an annual event and was held at the Jack Poole Plaza next to the Olympic Cauldron.  July was an outstanding month in Vancouver with a record setting sunny weather and the market couldn’t have asked for better.  The days were filled with glorious warmth, blue skies, the sounds of cruise ships departing for northern destinations and the roar of the seaplanes hurling themselves into the adventure of the day.  Friday at the market was populated by busy professionals escaping the confines of their offices and the weekend was perused by locals walking their dogs and pausing after a ride on the seawall.

The Summer Collection 2013 also made an appearance at the Harmony Arts Festival which is an annual affair on the banks of the Burrard Inlet by Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.  After the glories of summer which July brought, the rain tentatively returned on the first Friday of the festival but it quickly retreated as the weekend got underway.  This year I only attended the first weekend, this is an extremely intense show and I wanted to ensure that I was able to give everyone who entered my booth, the attention that they needed.  The weekend did not disappoint with great music, interesting artist demonstrations, tasty food and the fringe Harmony arts festival market – I did not get photos of this but I will if invited back next year.

So here is the Summer Collection 2013
